Metal tooth cable ties are chosen when a standard all-nylon locking head may not be enough for vibration, cold conditions or demanding mechanical use. Tycab states that the Nylon 6.6 body uses a stainless steel tooth, giving higher flexibility, stronger locking performance and better resistance in low-temperature conditions. They are particularly suitable for railways, transport equipment, heavy vehicles, machinery and outdoor industrial installations where movement, shock or environmental stress can challenge ordinary cable ties.
